Our country is blessed by so many festivals. In fact ,in every month there is some important festival. They are important part of our culture and tradition, so we can’t ignore them completely. So, is there a way out? Let’s see.
Like a student prepares for any competitive exam well in advanced, similarly people prepare before festivals. Everyone shares some responsibilities, apart from just studying. It is necessary to fulfil them too. But in such a way that your preparations don’t go off-track. Firstly, do not get involved much during festivals. Of course,
complete your responsibilities, but not by overlooking your preparations. And we agree, it is easier said than done!
Actually, this is a very good test of candidate’s time management skills. The time you lose during these festivals, try to make up for it the following day. Try to complete that quota of study whenever you get time in near future. If possible, cut your leisure activities for some days. If you play for two hours each day, reduce it to one hour per day and use that extra hour to devote to catch up on lost time.
Keep in mind, exams like JEE don’t just check your time management skills during paper solving only. It is evaluated in the whole duration of preparation of JEE.
But what if your house is full of relatives. Lot of buzz around you. Your grandparents have taken over your room. And the quiet corner by the stairs, is now your little cousins’ den. What do you do then? How will you ever manage to learn new concepts if the whole world is conspiring to keep you from it?
Of course you can’t run away from home during those days. Well, there is a way out. YOU CAN REVISE! We all know how important it is to revise things, especially when preparing for exams like JEE, which demands a two-year dedicated effort, sometimes even more. Whatever you have studied till then, must be revised during these ear-splitting celebration times. Seeing those formulas and concepts which you have already learnt will refresh them in your mind. Regular revision will brush up all concepts thus, saving time, which you will have to devote for revision separately, otherwise.
Problems are inevitable, but, there is always a way out. Festivals are for enjoyment but if you fulfil your dream of cracking JEE, you can celebrate even bigger. Work now and make THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, THE BEST OF YOUR LIFE…
